UNICEF Afghan campaign targets polio

Teams of UNICEF volunteers are going house to house to immunize children in Afghanistan’s impoverished Ghor region, where polio has seen a resurgence. India might face dire water shortages by 2050, The Economist writes, yet lacks a comprehensive plan to manage the critical resource.
